Introduction

Dr. Bruno Capelli completed his studies in Varese and Pavia (IT), graduating in Internal Medicine and Surgery in 1998.

He worked as an assistant doctor in several hospitals in Canton Ticino (SUI), and in 2005 he started working at Cardiocentro Ticino in Lugano, where, in 2007, he was appointed Chief of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Service.

Meanwhile, he was working as an urgency doctor at the Croce Verde in Lugano, obtaining the SGNOR Medical Emergency Certificate in 2008.

Also, in 2008, he obtained the Sport & Exercise Medicine Switzerland (SEMS) Certification and became Chief of Sports Medicine Service of the Cardiocentro Ticino in Lugano.

In 2019, in the same structure, he was appointed Chief of Preventive and Rehabilitative Cardiology Service.

Dr. Capelli is not only a clinician at the Cardiocentro Ticino in Lugano, but since 2000 is Team Doctor of HC Ambri-Piotta (National League – Swiss Ice Hockey Federation) and since 2008 of the Swiss Ice Hockey Under 20 Team.
